More Friends, No More Yellow

The story:

This client needed extra seating for friends to gather, and her daughter’s only request was “no more yellow walls.” With a fireplace and multiple doorways, this room also presented a challenging floor plan that limited the furniture arrangement. I managed to add more seating, including the two swivel chairs, just by reorienting the rug. Now there’s room for five people to sit comfortably, and creamy white walls replace all of the yellow. My client’s colorful window blinds were the Inspiration Piece for the snappy green chairs.
